The course aims to provide basic art-historical knowledge for understanding International and Italian art from the end of 19th century up to the artistic research of the 1970s with a specific focus on the Italian Modern and Contemporary art. Each artistic movement will be examined through the analysis of artworks and reading of texted able to convey the context in which they are produced and presented.
